Skip this if you burned the application and the language disk on CD/DVD:

How to install the program application:

Install the program Alcohol 120% (retail version within the archive) and create at least 2 virtual CD/DVD drives - in your case do the same with PowerISO. Save the images (.ISO files) of the application and the language disks in one folder on your HDD.

In the virtual CD/DVD drive Z: load the application disk.

Start the program autorun.exe:



Click on Install:



Click on Run Installer:



Click on OK:



Click on Next:



Click on Install:



Let the program install:



Click on the button Done:



Skip this if you burned the application and the language disk on CD/DVD, just load the language disk in your CD/DVD drive and start the program:

The program is now ready to use. In the virtual CD/DVD drive Y: load the language disk you want to use and start it with the option Autoplay:



Click on Run Rosetta Stone:

Now use the program and learn the language of your choice:







Skip this if you burned the application and the language disk on CD/DVD, just remember to start the program after you placed the language disk in your CD/DVD drive:

IMPORTANT NOTE: Open the program while using the language disks, do not start it separately. The application disk must always be loaded in the virtual CD/DVD drive before you use the language disks...

• You need to download both disc's - >the application disc 2.0.8.1< and the desired language disc.
• Unpack both archives with WinRAR, WinZip, etc. - don't unpack the .ISO files.
• Burn the .ISO files on CD/DVD or use them in a virtual CD/DVD drive (Alcohol, PowerISO, UltraISO, etc.).
• Use the application disc to install the program on your computer.
• Insert the desired language disc, and then start the program.
• After that, the following screen will appear, and you can start learning...

I also cannot find the Rosetta Stone program.  When I unpack the .rar archive I get a folder called es containing: a folder called Alcohol 120% BBEd; a readme file with a web address; and the language image - The Rosetta Stone - Spanish (Spain) Levels 1-2.iso

Where do I get the 2.0.8.1 program in order to use this image.  Your previous answers talk about an application image.  Where is it?  Please help.

The problem here is that the language you use seems to indicate that the download contains the application v2.0.8.1 image in addition to the Spanish levels 1 and 2 image - it does NOT.  It contains only the language image - thank you very much for that by the way.

I was able to get your download to work by locating and downloading the Rosetta Stone v2.0.8.1 elsewhere (by googling 'Rosetta Stone 2.0.8.1').  I have not therefore checked the latest download you suggested.  If you thought that you did include the application I suggest that you double check.

Before I finish I would like to thank you again for the language images you have uploaded.

In my previous post is an exactly explaination what you need to use Rosetta Stone v2.0.8.1 - not just the language disc, the application disc is neccessary to install the program.

There is also a link to the topic for the application disc, you need the disc just once to use all the language disc's. That's the reason why they are separate in different topics, and why i didn't include the application disc in any language archive...
